About Dr. Corwin

Dr. Corwin

 Dr. Corwin has worked in private practice for over 25 years. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society, the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, and The Greater Portland Dental Society. He is a Consultant Examiner for the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners. He gives back to the community through Donated Dental Services, a humanitarian service to the disabled, elderly, and medically compromised, as well as participation in the Free Denture Program through Community Dental.

A strong advocate of continuing education, Dr. Corwin has completed over 1600 hours of additional training, including studies at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Dawson Center, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, as well as the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. He has also completed additional studies in Dental Sleep Medicine and holds membership in the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

A Texas transplant, Dr. Corwin earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at Texas A&M University, and subsequently received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1983. After nine years of private practice in Texas, Dr. Corwin and his wife relocated to the Portland, Maine area and joined Drs. Burke and Philbrick in his current practice in 1993.
