About the Practice

The Restorative & Aesthetic Dental Associates practice was founded in the 1950s and offers a full range of dental services. Over the years we have earned the reputation for quality, integrity, and taking the time to build strong relationships with patients.

Thomas W. Corwin, DDS, FAGD, D. ABDSM joined the practice in 1993 after having practiced in Texas for nine years. Dr. Corwin provides a full range of services in general and cosmetic restorative dentistry and has a special interest in helping people manage their sleep apnea and snoring.

THE CENTER

Dr. Corwin and the Snoring and Sleep Apnea Dental Treatment Center of Maine focuses on helping patients who struggle with snoring, obstructive sleep apnea, or CPAP intolerance to find comfortable, non-surgical solutions. Dr. Corwin works with referring physicians from across Maine to help patients seeking solutions to sleeping challenges.

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Maine Sleep Society, Dr. Corwin is committed to staying abreast with the latest developments in the sleep apnea treatment field. Dr. Corwin is the only dentist in the state of Maine who has achieved Facility Accreditation by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is one of only a few dentists in northern New England with the specialized training and experience to fabricate and manage custom oral appliances for the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring.

THE DENTISTS

Our dentists have all been voted a “Best Dentist of America.” They have completed thousands of hours of continuing education courses through renowned institutions, including the Pankey Institute, the Dawson Center, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Each dentist continues to spend significant time gaining information and expertise to care for patients more effectively. All are Fellows in the Academy of General Dentistry, and members of the American Dental Association, the Maine Dental Association, and the Greater Portland Dental Society.

THE TEAM

The Snoring and Sleep Apnea Dental Treatment Center team consists of experienced, attentive, and compassionate individuals with experience in chair side dentistry and dental office administration.

Our staff treats you as a person first. You’ll get to know our reception staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and lab technicians. We are here to serve you for your best dental health.
